Tested Materials in the Acoustic Workshop
In our workshop, every production run begins at the measurement table. We secure the impact-resistant molded ABS shells into fixtures to measure wall thicknesses down to a tenth of a millimeter. Every batch must resist skin oils and perspiration without becoming brittle. The housings shield delicate electronics from impacts and provide a defined resonance chamber for natural frequencies.
Winding the Miniature Copper Coils
We wind our miniature copper coils under minimal tensile stress before placing them in our acoustic measurement chamber. A calibration microphone records response curves between 200 Hertz and 8000 Hertz to ensure tonal consistency.
- Quality inspection: We test every coil for inductance and direct-current resistance before soldering connections by hand.
- Traceability: We document the origin of our copper wire and the production batches of our lithium-ion cells without gaps.
Precise Fit for Everyday Wear
Connecting the shell to the grade 60 medical silicone tip requires precisely machined grooves. When the silicone clicks firmly into place, the seal stays moisture-resistant and sound travels into the ear without dispersion loss.
